DAWSON STATE JAIL
Several years ago one of our members, Al Martin, asked for permission to take a videotape of each week's service to the Dawson State Prison located in downtown Dallas. What began as a few prisoners sitting around a television set viewing our weekly service has evolved into two services every Monday (one for the men and one for the women) with hundreds of inmates singing praises along with our worship team, greeting one another during the welcome, and making decisions for Christ.

Currently, Lake Pointe has campuses in Rockwall, Mesquite, North Garland (Firewheel), Sulphur Springs, Royse City, Dallas and at Dawson State Prison.  Lake Pointe has 14 services on 7 separate campuses with an average attendance of 8,100 (not including children). Our efforts in opening these campuses - and potentially others – is not to become larger, but rather to fulfill the commission that God has given us to make disciples.
